It's the politics he gets into on his view of society that hurts the story line. I fully agree with almost everything he says I just don't think it's needed in the story line though it does help his other love. The other thing was his going into way to much detail on how certain things are supposed to work. I'm not a scientist I don't need that much detail!!!!I love the plot of a young man growing up and learning what it means to love and fight for what you believe in. It's also great like all his stories to see the people changing and adapting to what comes next. Over all a great fast paced story.

Decent but overall a bit lacking in all aspects.
A good start to a new series. Solid balance between story elements and an engaging story. Will definitely read the next book.
Great book with complex characters and a sexy plot and incredible battle scenes I can't wait for the next one
First lest say this isn't harem but polygamy, so keep that in mind and you will find the story line is great. The MC in the storyline is a rough blend of Android when needed but plays the human part very well and the mix of the two presents a good mix of the two. Can't wait for the second book to read.
I have been a bit harsh in my reviews of some of Mr rosier's
latest books about the balance of sex to plot. As he mentions there is much more action and plot than sex in this book. Don't get me wrong. Sex is still a dominant theme but not the dominant theme. I think he has hit at least for me close to the perfect balance for an SF book with a heavy erotic theme.
On to the book itself.. we jump to the next generation in the Ted Stedman universe as his son steps up to defend the Galaxy. We have even higher tech, hot alien women, evil bad guys, and lots of battles. What more can you ask for. This is the perfect blend of light mindless escapism and erotic fun to entertain.

Nice story, as usual. The sex was awesome too... but it had more technical terms in it and science fiction than any of the authors books so far. Liked it.
